I trained in Texas for both my medical doctorate and residency in Emergency Medicine. That training, along with over a decade working in the emergency department, gave me the opportunity to witness the full range of the human condition. Over the years, I consistently heard the same longing from both patients and providers. They wanted something different.

What I believe people miss most in modern healthcare is consistency, time, and access. From that realization grew the hope to create a different approach to healing and wellness, one that exists alongside the brilliance of modern medical advances while honoring the wisdom found in cultural and relational practices.

I hope vitality medicine offers a compassionate disruption, both for individuals seeking healing and for a system searching for meaning. The mana of these islands and the people who steward them have created an environment where I feel this vision can truly take root and grow.
